The Recouvrance
The schooner La Recouvrance is a replica of an aviso, a 19th century military ship designed to transmit urgent mail.
Built by the Chantier du Guip in 1992, La Recouvrance is the ambassadors ship of Brest and is named after a district of the city where sailor's wives used to pray to Our Lady to find their husbands who had gone to sea.
La Recouvrance is moored at the Malbert quay and takes passengers on board for half day, one-day or even 2 to 6-day cruises. You will be able to discover the harbor of Brest or the Breton coast while participating in the maneuvers and life on board.
